In February 2021 Edit was invited to present the ongoing research project, Honey I’m Home, at the Future Architecture Creative Exchange. The project references western modernity and critiques the nuclear family as a social and political construct complicit in exploitation of women and minorities. The stories presented at the Creative Exchange responded to the event’s theme ‘Landscapes of Care,’ Edit’s particular manifesto focussing on care as antidote to the capitalist obsession with economic growth. ‘We need to stop designing for growth, and start designing for care.’
